Scary nights, scarier days, life has ups and life has downs

Has something bad/ sad ever happened to you that you had no control over? Even though I can see the good out of this, can see how great God is and how much He is looking out for me, it has started to haunt my dreams. I think that its going to take a while longer to just get over, although it is making me very moody and I do feel bad for those around me who have to deal with that. It would be nice to talk all of this out ad vent, but I really think that would either be annoying or confusing.
